The army of defense of Israel has accelerated planning large military operation in sector Gaza, being afraid, that the inter-Palestinian collisions would be turned into the next wave of the anti-Israeli terror. Militaries and special services do not exclude, that ruling Palestinian grouping Hamas can break the Palestinian-Israeli armistice and renew the acts of terrorism, having accused Israel in support of Fatah movement competing to Islamizes for the control over the Palestinian territories.
For neutralization of threat the operation, comparable on scales with by “the Protective wall” 2002, during which the Israeli army has undermined potential of the Palestinian militarized groupings on Western, can be demanded. The operation will be aimed at protecting of the river Jordan. The Israeli armies have left sector Gaza in the end of November, 2006 after the five-monthly operation, begun in reply to kidnap by insurgents of IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, was finished.
