At the same time, Pan Gi Mun has emphasized, that he is deeply concerned by these air attacks and he is afraid, that this will bring a new color into the conflict and will lead to new victims among the civilians. The chapter of the United Nations has added, that he understands, that the USA undertake all the efforts directed on the struggle against terrorism.
On January, 11th it was five years from the date of opening the prison in Guantanamo. The Manifestations of Protest dated by this day, took place in many countries of the world, including in a province of Guantanamo in the east of Cuba where the American military base is located. Not only Cubans have taken part in the protest demonstration which has passed around the perimeter of military base.  It was possible to see American Sindi Shihan, a mother of one of the American soldiers, killed in Iraq, the former employee of the USA army Ann Right, and also the British of Pakistan origin who has passed some years on the military base of Guantanamo.
