Spanish people protest against terrorism

Hundred thousand Spaniards participate in passing in various cities of the country demonstrations of the protest against actions of basks′ separative grouping ETA, which has organized an explosion at Madrid airport of Barajas (December, 30th, 2006).
More than one million citizens of Madrid came for the demonstration under the slogan: ″For the peace, life and freedom - against terrorism!″.
The demonstration, supported by more than 500 parties and public organizations, is held under the initiative of leading trade unions of the country - the General union of workers and “The Working commissions “, and, also, by the Association of Ecuadorian immigrants, which two representatives were lost on December, 30th in the result of act of terrorism in Barajas.
Members of the government, heads of the leading Spanish socialist working party, other democratic parliamentary parties, politicians and scientists take an active part in the demonstration.
Other demonstrations against terrorism of ETA are also held in cities Bilbao, Pamplona, Saragossa and Ferrol.
