The United Nations and Lebanon have agreed about creation of the special tribunal on Hariri’s business
The United Nations and Lebanon have signed on Tuesday the agreement on establishment of the special tribunal for court above suspected in murder of Rafiq Hariri, the former prime minister of Lebanon, and other antisyrian politicians.
However this decision will not have validity, until it will be not approved by the Lebanese parliament which cannot renew work because of refusal of the speaker to call session.
The Lebanese politicians were divided in the attitude to the establishment of the special tribunal on business about Hariri’s murder. Its creation will support of Fouad Siniora’s government. However prosyrian political forces, including the president Emil Lahoud and the speaker of parliament Nabih Berri, and also Hezbollah grouping oppose it.
