In France’s prime minister’s opinion, the situation in Iraq becomes “even more menacing” if not to develop the plan of overcoming of crisis that assumes, particularly, in defining final terms of withdrawal of foreign troops from Iraq. Dominique de Villepin said that he considers that it should occur within a year. According to the prime minister’s words, in 20 century the USA were the guarantor of protection of human rights for the world, however war in Iraq became a turning point which has changed former representations about America. Dominique de Villepin said that it is a high time for the USA and the Europe gain again the respect and admiration of other people.
Dominique de Villepin also considers that it is necessary to involve Iran and Syria in settlement of a situation in Iraq. Thus he has emphasized, that a leading role in this process should be played by the USA. At the same time the prime minister of France has recognized, that the Europe should also take up the certain obligations on the prompt returning Iraqis to normal life.
