The chief Palestinian national administration Mahmoud Abbas has informed that the Palestinian fractions “on 99 %” have solved the questions connected with formation of the national unity government, but the cabinet formation will be declared not earlier than in a week.
After the next round of coalition negotiations with Prime Minister Ismail Hania, Mahmoud Abbas has told to journalists that they have solved 99 % of the questions connected with formation of the national unity government.
As it has become known, the parties have practically coordinated a nominee of new Minister of Internal Affairs, having eliminated the basic obstacle in a way of coalition government creation.
According to this data, the post of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be most likely offered to the general Jamal Abu Zayed, who is considered as an independent candidate who has been connected neither with Fatah movement, nor with Islamites from Hamas structure.
The interPalestinian arrangements leave for Hamas the right to choose the chapter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs from among independent applicants, but force Islamites to coordinate the personnel decision with a management of Fatah movement.
One month ago at negotiations in Saudi Arabia Fatah and Hamas have agreed about the termination of intestine collisions and creation of the government of national unity instead of a one-party cabinet of Islamites.
In the middle of February Mahmoud Abbas has accepted resignation of Hania and has charged him to generate the new government. According to the legislation, Hania has only five weeks to cope with this task and the deadline expires on March, 21st.

On Thursday at the IAEA Vein board meeting the decision on toughening sanctions against Iran was accepted.
In particular, the western countries are measured to stop rendering the technical assistance to Iran. For example, this can be supply by new technologies. Such radical measures have been accepted in reply to Teheran’s refusal to curtail work on uranium enrichment.
As BBC, referring to the IAEA representatives, informs, the majority of the IAEA commission members have voted for freezing 22 of 55 projects on rendering assistance to Iran.
The United States and France which supervise the IAEA scale programs on rendering assistance to the different countries, demanded acceptance of even more rigid sanctions against Iran.
The countries of non-alignment Movement, to which Iran also belongs, have made the protest against the IAEA’s decision. They are afraid, that the decision concerning Iran can adversely be reflected in their own mutual relations with IAEA, whose programs of the help are necessary for maintenance of developing economics.
The IAEA Programs, which have now appeared, are inaccessible to Iran, meaning the help to the country in development of technologies on fuel manufacture.
The Iranian authorities have condemned the IAEA’s decision. In their opinion, the UN Security Council has impartiality affected on the IAEA’s experts.
As the diplomatic representative of Iran has declared, that Iranian nuclear program has nothing common with creation of the nuclear weapon and its development will be continued despite of any obstacles.
On Wednesday the European Union has called Iran to accept the IAEA’s requirements, having promised, that if it will do this, all sanctions against Iran, supported the EU, will be immediately cancelled.
For all 50-years history of the IAEA’s existence only two countries (Northern Korea and Iraq) were exposed to rigid sanctions from this organization because of similar fears.

The IAEA has come to the deadlocked situation with Iran

The members of the International agency on an atomic energy (IAEA) are not assured, that the nuclear program of Iran has an exclusively peace character and that it is not intended for the military purposes. Such suspicions have declared today by the IAEA general secretary at the IAEA Council meeting in Vein.
The general secretary has declared that the Agency still does not have sufficient clearness concerning all aspects of the Iranian nuclear program. He has also emphasized, that the IAEA cannot unequivocally declare, that this program has exclusively peace character and it is not intended on the military purposes.
The general secretary has told that the present Iranian nuclear power question remains a deadlock. The general secretary has reminded, that in the past Teheran has almost for two decades been engaged in not declared nuclear activity in infringement of the Nonproliferation nuclear weapon Treaty.
The IAEI general secretary has noted that now the IAEA’s inspectors had an opportunity to check up all the declared nuclear materials in Iran. However the inspectors still cannot recreate a complete picture of history of the Iranian nuclear program and its some components because there was no necessary level of an openness and cooperation from Iran.
It was also emphasized, that, despite of the Security Council’s requirements, Teheran continues enrichment of uranium and approves, that, remaining the participant of the Nonproliferation nuclear weapon Treaty, it has the full right of using nuclear technologies in the peace purposes.
The general secretary has noted that the trust will be restored after Iranian authorities will answer all questions and will show readiness for the open cooperation.

The US National Intelligence Director John Michael McConnell has declared that the Russia’s policy becomes more and more antidemocratic and rigid in process of approach of presidential elections. This performance was opened for press and consequently cautious, but on hands senators had its full text, and after the introductory speech, all the journalists have been removed from a boardroom and the closed hearings have been held.
However, even the introductory speech has amazed with a lot of contradictory and shocking facts. John Michael McConnell has started his speech with accusing Russia of the further deviation from a democratic rate and in aspiration to give the power to the new anti-democratic successor. McConnell said that all possible and impossible measures are being taking in order to control the population, parties and so on - up to that the following head of Russia will be simply specified. As one of negative examples the US National Intelligence Director has resulted Alexander Litvinenko’s murder in London and has declared, that such incidents “accumulate problems and friction”. Having concerned Vladimir Putin’s sensational speech at the Munich conference, McConnell has admitted, that it became a surprise for the American special services.
As The Washington Post informs, McConnell has assumed, that the aggressive Russian last weeks rhetoric, directed against the USA, can be the reflection of political tendencies in Russia.
As a conclusion the US National Intelligence Director has told that Putin has got in an environment of extremely conservative advisers which treat the USA with suspicion.
McConnell has told that Russian authorities continue to bring a spirit of “rivalries and antagonism” into Russian-American relations, in particular, when it is a question of America’s actions in the territory of the former USSR. McConnell has told that such position will not lead to productive cooperation in any questions: from counteraction against terrorism up to power and the Near East democracy distribution.
